A useful example

A property plan
you can picture.

The route to the door. Room for the snow. A clear record of the visit. Here is how a small office property could bring those details together.

Sample property only · Not an actual customer, quote or completed visit
Sample winter plan for a small office propertyThe office is at the top. A priority pedestrian route connects the main entrance to accessible parking at the lower left. Vehicle access loops around parking stalls. Snow storage is at the lower right, separated from the entrance and road sightline. A rear delivery area is shown at the upper right.OFFICESample propertyAccessibleparkingVehicle spacesDeliveryaccessSnow storageSTREET / PROPERTY ACCESS1234

Four decisions
to make visible.

  1. The route people use

Connect accessible parking, the front walk and the entrance. Identify steps, surface transitions and any treatment area.

  2. The route vehicles use

Distinguish the access lane from individual stalls. Define what happens when parked vehicles prevent clearing.

  3. Where the snow goes

Mark a storage area with space for the next snowfall. Protect sightlines and drainage; agree what happens when it fills.

  4. The working entrance

Keep delivery access in the plan, including its opening times and turning space. It should not disappear behind stored snow.

Sample quotation checklist

What the quote
needs to settle.

Included areas
Front walk, entrance connection, vehicle lane, listed parking spaces and rear delivery access.
Priorities & timing
State the actual opening hour and first arrival. Agree the snowfall trigger, service window and response during a continuing storm.
Ice treatment
List the surfaces, suitable treatment and who decides when it is needed. State whether repeat treatment is included or additional.
Snow storage
Mark normal storage on the plan. Define the approval and charge for relocation or hauling when space is limited.
Price & limits
Show the service period, pricing basis, taxes, visit caps, extras and payment schedule. A monthly amount alone does not describe the work.
Responsibility
Identify the service provider, property contact, change approval process and cancellation terms.

A checklist, not a priced quotation. Your proposal contains the terms for your property.

Sample service record

The visit,
made useful.

Office example · Visit date, arrival and finish time recorded here.
Areas attended
Front walk, entrance connection, access lane and available stalls. Record each area against the agreed plan.
Treatment
Record the surface, material and application details where treatment is included.

Example: a parked vehicle prevented access to one stall. Note the location and the agreed follow-up.
Snow placement
Record use of the agreed storage area and flag if the next visit may need another solution.
Follow-up
A question, an obstruction or a proposed extra visit goes to the designated contact for review.

Demonstration record only. No service visit is represented here. Agree the records included with your actual service.

Keep one useful version.

Give the approved plan to the people who need it. Record a changed priority, additional area or revised storage location against the same property brief. For a portfolio, keep a separate plan for each address.
